Many teens and young adults come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Sometimes it shows up as stress from school or work, social pressure, perfectionism, or just feeling “off” and not knowing why. My goal is to help you slow down, understand what’s happening internally, and build tools that actually make life feel more manageable and meaningful.
My style is calm, steady, and down-to-earth. I like to create a space where you can be honest without feeling judged or rushed. I draw from cognitive-behavioral strategies, dialectical behavioral strategies, mindfulness and practical coping skills but the heart of the work is helping you understand yourself on a deeper, more grounded level – emotionally, mentally, and behaviorally – so you can make choices that feel like you, not who you think you’re supposed to be.
I work especially well with children, teens and young adults who feel misunderstood, sensitive, or unsure of themselves. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, school or college stress, identity challenges, mood changes, social struggles, or life transitions, we’ll work together at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and productive.
I primarily see teens (middle school through college) and young adults, and I’m also open to children and adults as my caseload develops. Therapy with me is collaborative – you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to show up, and we’ll take it from there.
