Group Therapy

Our groups are organized by the needs of our clients and community; whether in person in our Red Bank, NJ office or online through Zoom or another teletherapy platform.

In the evolving present with social distancing in order for our community’s near future, we are developing programs and groups including:

  • Grief and Bereavement Group
  • Mindfulness and Acceptance Skills Group
  • Stress Management Skills Group

Online therapy Groups are limited in size to fewer than ten participants.

In office groups will have social distance parameters in place for the safety of all participants.

Group therapy differs from individual therapy by holding therapeutic sessions in a group setting run by a therapist instead of in a private one-on-one setting with a therapist. In these group sessions, patients share their thoughts and experiences with the whole group, allowing them to support one another while being supported by a group of people who understand what you’re going through.

If you’ve been feeling hopeless or alone lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, group therapy could help you improve your everyday life.
