Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ and a member of the NASW-NJ chapter. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and then went on to complete my Masters in Social Work at Monmouth University. After graduate school I began working in a Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program where I provided both individual and group therapy to teens and adults struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
My clinical experience has been working with individuals, couples and families struggling with many diverse issues. Some examples of these are: substance abuse/addiction, ADHD, autism, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, gender dysphoria, stress/anger management, work/school stress, relationship conflict/poor communication skills, grief/loss, self-injurious behaviors, identity exploration, low self-esteem and/or life changes.
I have a strong passion for working with individuals living with mood/anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, gender dysphoria, childhood trauma, chronic illness/pain and those identifying as neurodiverse i.e., ADHD and/or autism.
